Level select in Sonic The Hedgehog And Knuckles
Start a game with Sonic.
Run over to where the Spuer Shoes power-up and Madmole creature are right next to each other.
Directly to the right of the Madmole is a pulley mechanism that takes you to the next level above by pushing Down on it repeatedly. Grab a hold of its left handle, but instead of pushing down, push the follow sequence wihle on it: Left(3), Right(3), Up(3).
If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of a chmie. After hearing the chime, press Start to pause the game, then press B. You will be sent back to the Sega logo and title screen.
Wait for the introduction sequence to end, then when the selection for choosing Sonic or Knukcles appears, press Start while holding B.
